they certainly got the most skill out of any sports, there's no other game as dynamic it takes unbelievable skill and anyone who's played at a certain level will know this because to reach the absolute top is nearly impossible without the talent and playing from a very early age on (I'd say no older than 7) it really takes almost a quarter life time of training to get a shot at being a pro
some of the other things you mentioned surely there's athletes that train specifically for one of those aspects (eg olympians) so they're probably better at that very narrowed down aspect (an NBA player will jump higher, a sprinter will be faster on a 100m dash because they got the technique down to a T)

Actually read some article from some supposed track and field coach that goes into pretty good depth.
He mentions sprinters dont train in the 40 yd typically within their events so surmising bolts 40 from his 100m could be foolhardy considering he had other events as well.
Basically he thinks if bolt trained for the 40 he could do sub 4 40yd dash
They have 30 meter times and he ran a 3.63 but that was using a hand clock. If you do the math you end up at 4.2 40m, but if you account for the hand measurement you get ~3.9 range

Endurance? Sure.
Lightly tap their arm and suddenly they have a broken ankle.

Soccer is a way more skilled based sport than American football.
Soccer involves huge amounts of co-ordination and forward thinking trying to dribble the ball down the field at pace while also trying to anticipate the movement of the opposition.
Honestly, I imagine most of the people who make fun of the sport write it off due a single bad experience and have had never had to chance to watch a proper match
American football is largely a bunch of big guys slamming into each other at high speeds and requires a lot of strength and athleticism, but much less actual skill.
Each to their own and if you're not into it then that's fine too, but don't embarrass yourself by saying that soccer players are uncoordinated and lack skill/finesse, which they actually have in abundance.

"I am like getting the feeling of cumming in the gym; I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home; I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage; when I pump up, when I pose out in front of 5000 people I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. It's terrific, right? So you know, I am in heaven."

So tactically in some situations it makes a lot more sense to play up the collision, go down, milk it a bit so it is noted by the referee and earn a free kick/penalty, rather than losing possession over an illegal move and then not gaining back your advantage. You gotta draw the line at fortitude and risking injury. So yes, if you are seven feet tall you can play in the NBA starting from a late age, but to do so your genetic makeup has to include an extremely rare disorder known as gigantism. Then you can stand under the basket and just block everyone's shots and grab all the rebounds. No, you won't need much athletic ability to do that, you just need to be born a god among men to qualify.

People will look to soccer players like Messi or tennis players like Federer for examples of pure sporting magic. No one has ever looked at an NFL player and thought that. Ever.

Poverty ball is pretty spot on. When you dont have a Playstation 4 or galaxy foldable to wank away half the day away to you go play soccer with your friends after school. In cristiano's case he would go home, eat for a few minutes and go play soccer all day.
There's a video on YouTube that shows how automatic his movements are in regards to dribbling as well as showing him making goals from midfield. Hard work.
Most pros have to have started playing soccer at a youngue age just because of the skill gap involved in the game. This is why Messi can be be shorter than cristiano but still wreck because it's more about training and skill than anything else.
Pretty sure basketball and football require genetic freaks more than actual skilled players. Combine skill and genetics and you get once in a blue moon freaks like Micheal, lebron, etc.

I think so soccer is a very tough sport in b4 gifs of players diving. I wish I could get that stuff out of the game, but it will always happen. Basketball is way easier...Soccer brb running 100 yards nonstop no timeouts.
I also think hockey is very hard. I tried when I was younger but i sucked lol I was able to admit myself to that like nope not for me, but I love watching hockey. Played soccer in high school won state I still play on weekends and an indoor league.

Best athletes in the world yet they play the game at 50% physical effort. Trot. Dribble. Pass...Trot. Dribble. Pass...Trot. Dribble. Pass...FLOP.
Hockey players, boxers, football players go 100% effort. Even baseball players get reemed out if they fail to hustle out a ground ball. Maybe it's more of the American mentality of competing, but that's the mentality what wins USA gold at the end.

Idk about the people mentioning combat sports, they are definitely tough and skilled but I doubt the majority of them could run a sub 4.5 40 or jump 40 inches. Sure some freaks like Gervonta Davis or Tyron Woodleycouldbut does anyone really see high level fighters like GGG, Mikey Garcia, Canelo, or Kelvin gastelum hitting those numbers?
I used to box and I would continuously finish in the top in athletic tests like sprinting or benching but would routinely get tooled up in sparring.
