So they ought to be taking a few steps back every time I come around or talking too much about their spouses to give me an extra hint that they're taken.

I mean I get it. Dating can be frustrating for a lot of people and navigating the dating landscape nowadays with the advent of social media certainly doesn't make it any better. Everyone is entitled to express their frustration with it, but after a while it because redundant to constantly bitch about it over and over. At one point you have to take matters into your own hands if you want that 10/10 in your life. Work on improving yourself, show up to things, become an overall better person. After a while commiserating in one's dating failures you have to wonder if YOU are the problem.

I'm 49 so listen up ...

After reading multiple threads you have started and seen your comments on other peoples threads I'm going to try to give you an unorthodox approach that will help with your social skills aswell as slowly understanding women.

You will introduce yourself as a gay man whenever you talk to women, try not to push it straight into their face but if you give enough "cues" they will know it beforehand and might pull down their shields, this should mask your autism. After getting "in" try to actually listen and get to know these women. The good thing with this is that the women will slowly introduce you to their social circle meaning you will have a better chance at getting some poon at some point.

TLDR: OP is a *******, actually acting like a ******* might help.
