Dave delivered smart humor. don't let the bad language fool you, this was a thought-provoking performance.
for many of you saying "i didn't laugh as hard as i did at his show" or killin' softly - the truth is (IMO), you got old. Dave is as sharp as ever, you just grew up and aren't as likely to bust out laughing as you were in 2003.

Atleast Kimmel can be funny even though ABC neutered him from back in the old days, and Colbert went from a witty host on Comedy Central to "60 minutes of daily Trump Jokes" for ratings. Letterman and Leno didn't have to make everything about politics, and they were great. Modern hosts have nothing and have to result to identity politics and trump jokes the entire time.
Dave Chappelle is GOAT. Wish I had gone to see him on Broadway.
