You mean something like this? I go to bed like this every night. It's ritual.

Lots of gun owners sleeping with a weapon close by. But has anyone taken a class on Low Light Structural Defense, Defensive Carbine, or Defensive Pistol? If the fight comes to you, training might just keep you alive.

Canada so no . I do have a co2 pistol . Figure if I pelt the fark out of him , maybe it will be better than nothing .
Taking out an eye may slow him down, but then there’s that whole law suit to deal with .
In Canada your only found not guilty if you die during a home invasion

Why do people like you ignore the facts? Quick Google reveals reports by the FBI showing the following.

Spoiler!
4. On average, a burglary happens once every 23 seconds in the US.
According to 2017 crime statistics from the FBI, there are almost three burglaries every minute in America, making it the second-most frequent crime behind larceny-theft. When you add it up, that’s 3,757 burglaries a day.

So you just live defenseless? Banking on the police to come save you or something?

Imagine living your life unprepared when there is the possibility of something happening.

Honestly, I’m in rural Montana. I admit there is a near zero chance of needing a firearm at hand in the middle of the night. However, I have said firearms for recreational purposes anyway, may as well keep them handy just in case, amiright?

Yeah... and in my state, 8 out of 10 home invasions are targeted. Let that sink in. At two in the the morning, the door gets kicked in on a (possibly) known occupied structure and they're there for a reason. You aren't going to talk your way out of that scenario.

This counter point doesn't have any wild assumptions and is logically iron clad. You've convinced me to move to the Utopia where crime doesn't exist and turn my guns in.

I keep my shells in the nightstand and the shotty next to the dresser 3 steps away. Buying an AR once my Thanksgiving bonus comes in though and putting a tactical rack over the nightstand on my side afterwards.

Ikeman if you see this how do you feel about the M&P Sport rifles?

I was seeing them for about $600ish with some decent reviews.

You got a link handy for your AR threads? Looking to stay in the $600-700 range w/o optic (going to get the optic here in December or January)

illegal aliens are illegal in every state yet i don't see anything being done about that, heck some even drive and reap the benefits of my hard earned tax dollars. So in my mind all laws are now null and void except basics of the constitution, the country has been over run and currently being raped. never give up your guns, buy more and more ammo
