It honestly blows my mind that people under the age of 25 have some way of getting disposable income to get decent quality work... hence why most younger guys have absolutely **** tattoos. I'm sure the misc is full of anomalies making ceo10k, lol, but this is excellent work, and I'd have no ragretz whatsoever dropping 16k on this.
To those who don't know, the top artists at internationally acclaimed studios are doing upwards of $700usd/hour (eg Bang Bang NYC, Buena Vista Germany). I think you did this at a good stage in life personally. Cheers bro, the ones who hate and just don't want to get it just won't get it.

but i look down on people that get tattoos. i don't really see the point of it, any random can get it. what's the point of it, do u expect people to think ur cool or something that ur some kind of badass? seems to be some kind of coping mechanism that ur compensating for something and need to project that in some way. no one cares tbh.

These are people who pioneered distinct signature styles, have tattooed celebrities, or are basically stars. I imagine people from Ink Master like Ryan Ashley or Daniel Silva charge a fat premium. Plus, when you have enough money and want a tattoo flex, even things like the association with the tattoo artist is a paying point, much like designer brands.
And man, wtf, there are at least a dozen artists in Toronto with way lower quality work charging more than that. Is $300/hr his regular rate..?
