Not worried since I have a good amount in savings and literally nothing could cause my organization to have me not come into work but I will most likely start bringing my glock with me more often.

Duke Energy has sent emails to all customers that if their power bills are not made there will be no service disruption. Pretty sure mortgage companies will be doing the same thing....

This. I know this is the Misc but I am disappoint in the lack of compassion and empathy being shown the past couple days. It's ok to be thankful you have savings and a job that won't be interrupted but you shouldn't be happy that many people are going to be hit super hard by this. Wishing bad things on people is not it.

Put it a lot better than I could. They are saying that the recession could be worse than the great recession just over a year ago. Think of all the hardship and suffering that brought on. There have even been studies trying to count how many people perished due to the last recession (suicide/overdose, disease that they couldn't pay for etc). Not so sure that the alternative is worse.

if people didnt have savings to pay the 1200, how are they suppose to afford twice that just because they returned to their normal work schedule where they could only afford 1200/month?
