The Senate canceled recess to work at breakneck speed because people need help now.
Pelosi waltzes in after the House has been on a week long vacation and says they’re going to do their own thing and the Senate’s Monday urgency is arbitrary.

How is this different than 8 years of voting no against anything Obama tried to do? Partisan is partisan regardless of which side of the aisle. Republicans voted against the auto company bail outs even at the risk of 100's of thousands of people losing their jobs.

Congress can fuk off with their massive bills and business as usual though. Pass the stuff you agree on, like enhancing unemployment benefits, and then work on negotiating what you don't agree on.

It's not just stocks buybacks, the big sticking issue is employee protections. It has none. It's $500Billion in bailout money with NO STRINGS ATTACHED to the treasury dept to handout to large corporations. No payroll guarantee, no employee benefits guarantees, etc. They can dump their stocks, lay off employees, and increase bonus and profits to investors and shareholders, and when the market eventually turns around, buy back the stocks, etc.
That $500billion is FREE tax payer money BTW. That's our money we are handing them. Corporate socialism at it's finest.

“As Leader Schumer continues to hold up the desperately-needed relief package, the last-minute list of demands from Pelosi’s and Schumer’s ideological wish list are coming into focus,” the aide said.
These include new collective bargaining powers for unions, higher fuel emissions standards for airlines, and expanded wind and solar tax credits.
Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., confirmed this on Twitter Monday morning after the same information was tweeted by TownHall.com political editor and Fox News contributor Guy Benson.
"This report is correct. Pelosi & Schumer are willing to risk your life, your job, your retirement savings for a radical, left-wing wish list that has nothing to do with this virus," Cotton said. "Disgraceful."
