We won't know the actual percentage until everyone getsaccuratelytested. As of now, many of those with mild symptoms are staying at home and many of them don't even know if they have it. That and false positives as well. We have no accurate number except it's affecting the elderly that have preexisting conditions with more serious symptoms (opposite of H1N1 where the elderly seemed to be immune and the young were catching it at greater frequency)

Social distancing does nothing but slow it down. In the end, a certain percentage of people must catch it and build an immunity. It's only purpose is to not overload the hospitals and everything that I've been reading is we aren't even close to capacity.

Slowing it down is the difference between a .25% death rate and a ~1% death rate. This not only saves 1.5 million lives, but also diminishes the long term effect on the economy, not the make believe stock market.

Nobody is suggesting NEVER being exposed. The problem with this disease isnt its fatality rate. It's the contagion level. The speed being extended to 18 months, instead of 6 months, saves ~30 million lives worldwide and all the domino effects of such.



You want markets to collapse? Wait until bodies pile up faster than holes can be dug. Seriously, stop trying to be "edgy" and outsmart the math.
