In academic studies, most men say what they want and pursue women that fulfill that criteria. Simple.

With women, what they say they are attracted to (leftist, sense of humor, good character) and how they actually choose which men get to smash (tall/handsome, wealthy, socially connected) are wildly different. There is no consensus answer on why women are massively dishonest with themselves, even when participating in anonymous academic research.

Not sure why I bother to respond but perhaps you should go back and read from page 1. Yeah that's not true, unless you are a prototypical 10/10 omega Chad. There is a balance and as a man you need to ALWAYS be working to build and maintain attraction, but it has to seem natural.
