yeah, dude ive known since kindergarten died last year. He was same age as me (32yo at the time), he drank a lot for a long time.

Alcohol is an absoulte bane on society.

Not only the cheonic abuse related illness but the DUI ---> crashes, assaults, domeastic violence, rapes and other dumb decisions all contributed too by alcohol.

i've known of a couple people that died from alcohol abuse. Didn't know them all that well. They were all older, one being in her 70s and the other I'm familiar with was likely in his 50s or 60s. I believe them to be alcohol abusers for their adult life.
