Probably The Road for me. Just the most unrelentingly bleak film I've ever seen.
Salo is trying to be disturbing, not sure if it really disturbs these days as much as when it was made but probably still up there.
Happiness.

Honestly it’s probably Joker.
Movies don’t typically affect me much in terms of emotion, but I was completely uncomfortable the entire movie, really feeling the metal illness and trauma as if it were real. Also combined with the fact that I was on edge the whole time thinking someone might shoot out the whole movie theater... i was drained after that

Cannibal Holocaust
Bone Tomahawk.
Edit: The Witch is one as well. I don’t recommend those other 2, but I’d recommend that one for a good Halloween movie
Just read the plots of Hereditary and The Girl Next Door. Nope.

Oh, I dive deep.
PUSS BUCKET. Two space aliens (one disguised as the Virgin Mary) tell two hillbillies to kill as many people as possible, and collect the pus from their heads, get buckets-ful of it, and give it to Jesus.
Considered by some to be the most awful movie ever made...

Leatherface (2017). Watched half of it last year. Turned it off. Too much.

I avoid dark movies and gore. I've seen The Road and Bone Tomahawk and honestly didn't think they were that bad. Most disturbing for me was Nymphomaniac, from the cast, cinematography and themes, even though there's no violence.
