“Just the flu”? The flu is a very serious disease.

Most likely, you had a pneumonia and this can be typical after recovering from any kind of pneumonia.
Best lifts (Don't lift for strength anymore. No more deadlifts or squats)
270 Bench Max
340 Squat Max
495 Deadlift Max

I think Miscers think flu is a common cold for some reason.

Scary stuff man. I wish more people would take it seriously. I’m ready to quit my job and go hermit mode. I had Lyme disease in 2013 and was sick as hell. Lost 20 pounds/ slept 16 hours a day for 2 weeks. I made it through it and gained most of my strength back but took a couple years to hit my pre Lyme numbers. Hopefully this **** goes away soon

Other countries aren't testing 100s of thousands. Per day. Other countries don't report results. The US does because the US has made it political.

I’m pretty convinced immunity only lasts a few months.

Maybe go on an anti inflammatory diet. Lots of omega 3, eat lots of broccoli, layoff junk food, sugar, alcohol...eat plenty of fruits.

And micro damage done to your heart, digestive track and other organs that may not show up in imaging or blood tests. I believe most will fully recovery, but they need to take the long view. Months up to a year.
OP you need to see a doctor, get an EKG and possibly PFT and repeat imaging (preferably CT with contrast).
If those are clean, then its likely just typical post pneumonia recovery.
OP im curious, what is your blood type and how were your vitamin D levels before you got hit with covid?

31 year old, healthy, fit co-worker of mine caught it in early April and isstillout of work. Talking on the phone or doing something simple like vacuuming his living room gets him winded. He's so exhausted he takes naps all the time. There may very well be horrible long-term effects. More studies will come out obviously; the more data we collect.
This is why I choose to wear a (real) mask when in public. People don't even wash their hands 99% of the time after taking a piss. Meaning most people's hygiene is horrific. I'm not taking any chances on long-term issues like OP. I'm not afraid of death, I'm afraid of having my lungs crippled.

Pretty sure NBA players have gotten it and recovered and back on the court just fine right now.
I wouldn't exactly say this means recovery is hard. Maybe you were in poorer health than you believed going into this thing and that's why you're struggling to recover
Jus sayin
Seems like the only people really struggling with this thing are the self-proclaimed "healthy" people. Maybe you just got exposed as being in sh*tty health.

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Did you get xray of chest to check for scaring after recovering?
I'd do so. Doc would probably be on board
I had DHF a couple years ago. I still have symptoms.

I got grilled by the nurse about it because I mentioned it in passing when I was getting my flu shot in October.

I remember reading ur original thread when u had it. ITT you saying it was "moderate" is scary considering how bad it was at the time when u described ur symptoms. I know u never went had to get on a ventilator or anything like that, but if that was "moderate" I want absolutely nothing to do with that chit...
threads like this are exactly why the fatality rate really isn't the only important thing to consider
