The son getting shot doesn't point to any particular reason for the shooting at this point. For all we know the intended victims were her son and her husband. There is no evidence that I've seen that points to her as the target of assassination. Hopefully we'll learn more over the coming days and weeks.

IMO the left/right is mostly a facade, a little show to keep the masses believing they have a representative government. Except that when the 2007/2008 bank bailout went down the large majority of people were against it and many cared enough to call/write/email/fax their representatives. It still went through.

Agree that it is time to abandon the two party system, get money out of elections, and teach people critical thinking/reason instead of just how to memorize and recite back the accepted right answers.

This isn't a left/right issue, this is people in power collectively avoiding justice through force. Left and right are involved, hence why it will be almost impossible for justice to prevail.

she got the case 4 days ago...not like she was going to make a decision asap. and why kill her son and husband but not her? now she's got nothing to lose.
