I see Martyrs has been mentioned a few times. It's the kind of movie that is brilliant but at the same time not an enjoyable experience. I would recommend one watching.

I watched a film last night, not really gory or ****ed up but very.. eerie. Vivarium:https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8368406/

You don't need to watch movies.

Watch CNN/MSNBC/Young Turks.

Read Wincel posts.

Since a lot have mentioned A Serbian Film, I'll leave it out. Green Inferno has probably one of the most harrowing scene I've seen In a film. Midsommar was also pretty unsettling.

Probably PUSS BUCKET. Actually, a rather rare movie. At least some people consider it the worst movie ever made.

Can find trailer on YT
I've recently purchased and watched both films and I loved them! The first definitely serves its purpose as a shock piece and has a fantastic score and is just an interesting look at love and romance. The second is slightly too long but is elevated from the shock-factor of the first film and is a very interesting commentary on relationships. Also has very interesting cinematography.

The most notorious scenes (the rape of the new-born baby, the scene in which the star decapitates a woman and continues to have sex with her headless torso) are grotesque but very obviously contrived. This chit is gonna hunt me forever.

Pretty disturbing, but it´s hand held amateur filming. Just lots of disgusting gore. Pretty bad movie so I didn´t watch it all. It´s pretty creepy tho. Worse than Serbian film

Guinea pig films are sick as fuk.
I've seen two, the first and Flower of Flesh and Blood. They definitely stayed with me for a while. The latter more so after a certain part that I remember saying "No...come on...don't do that...don't....awwww ****, come on!" And I watch Srpski Film regularly, so not too much fazes me. It's really the context of the violence that's more disturbing than the actual violence.

And Men Behind The Sun.
Just rewatched it. ****ing hell. What a movie. The grotesque imagery and fact-based suffering on display is truly sickening. And depressing.

In the hands of a lesser filmmaker you’d get sentimental **** like Schindler’s List. Thankfully, this piece doesn’t suffer from such simple-mindedness. Instead it takes a fly-on-the-wall approach, showing the brutal experiments as art-lessly as possible.

This is real horror, and should be essential viewing.

Another one of those infamously depressing movies, made all the more miserable because unlike events featured in films such as Cannibal Holocaust or Martyrs, the atrocities exhibited on film pale to what the real horror was in Unit 731.
