Just LOL @ American Football.

I played 4 years of high school football and 1 year of Pop Warner.

Yes 2 a days during the Summer heat is not that fun, however they really don't make you run that much, you get frequent water breaks because they don't want you to die.

A typical practice is like:

Stretching.
Agility drills.
Positional practice - Offense.
Positional practice - Defense.
Run plays 1st and 2nd team offense vs scout defense. Scout defense is often holding bags.
Run plays scout offense vs 1st and 2nd team defense. Sometimes full tackling, sometimes not.
Wind sprints - Maybe 6 times x 100 yards.

You do enough cardio to be in shape, but not enough that they want you to lose the weight you packed on in the weight room during the off season.

In a typical football practice there is actually quite a bit of standing around/boredom.
Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still here postin' in hhhnnnggg threads, beggin' for mod reps, and braggin' about whales you harpooned from POF, I'll f'in kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f'in kill ya. You got somethin' none of us have, and you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be red, and I'll still be a socially awkward/FA. And that's all right.

Rowing can be brutal. Not in the sense that football or rugby are, but still tough and painful at times. **** weather and being wet also contribute to the suckiness
