You can look up a list of zoonotic diseases and see for yourself.

But just because said diseases originated from animals, does that mean that dogs for example carry stds that are transferable to humans? Cuz i never read anything about that.

I haven't dealt with a specific case where a person caught an STD from a canine that I'm aware of, but I'm sure it's happened in recent years, the public hasn't been made aware yet for obvious reasons that beastiality has been on a steady rise over the last 15 years since the internet really took off.

There's still many US states where it's legal so long as you don't "harm" the animal, which is ridiculous.



I'm sure you've heard of Rabies? Norovirus? Staph? Salmonella? Brucella? Leptospira? Again just a few that can be transmitted through a canine's saliva and feces.

Doggos are one of the main carriers for zoonotics, that's not even going into fungal & parasitic.
