As a general rule, Glocks have less problems than other platforms while remaining reasonably affordable/thread.

Looking at the prices of glocks right now I rather just build an AR 15.

I've had a few over the years that I'd end up selling. Never really liked them. Basically an expensive hi point

Glocks are all about the system and simplicity - not the individual firearm.

You can get yourself a concealed, midsized and fullsized sidearm pistol, AR9, Ruger PC Carbine and Keltec Sub2k to arm an entire family all using standard glock mags up to 33 rounds and beyond.

That's decent firepower with major versatility and extreme simplicity. If I had my wife my AR15 she's like wtf do I do with this beast. I hand her the Ruger PC Carbine and it's so simple, so sleek, easy to charge and smooth as butter.

I know there are other systems out there but the glock system is just cheap and easy and it works.

I'm unaware about high point, calibers and modifications, etc.

I personally dont like them but as above posters have stated: it is the system

You can get a glock g20 that is a full size 10mm, you can get a glock g42 that is a subcompact 380acp, and there is a myriad between.

Controls, materials, optics, etc. Are all the same
Easy to be an armorer with a few tools and manual of arms is the same.

I personally prefer CZ and sig, but even they dont have as wide of options.

No modern CZ in 380acp or 10mm
Sig 10mm has a capacity of 8+1 rounds, p238 has single action only, which is a no-no for pocket carry imo.

I prefer double/single action and metal as the material, so glock loses for me.
