Just shameful.

And the Trumpets are so defensive today lmao. Cagey. Already ceding the election.

I can't wait for debate #2
In real life, i just hear criticism of Biden; i do NOT hear praise for Trump which is just weird!

They do, although the Giants nearly ****ed me in Pickem this week. Jets are pure garbage.

I have no clue which 9ers team is going to show up, so always rolling the dice on them.

Still trying to figure if I want to play Brady this week in fantasy though, have 2.5 hours to decide.

Depends on if Mike Evans comes to play, Antonio Brown comes next week, so Brady’s options will be a lot more.

This week though, I’m not sure. I just need 25 points from him.

Raiders can score so hopefully that means TB12 has to stay on the field and match TD for TD.

Yeah Bee, this signals to everyone that you haven't been engaged in the debates or the discourse. Basically you've made your "assumption" of Biden's character (doubtless affected by Trump's propaganda machine) and are leading with that.

Just remember that when you assume, you make an ass out of u and me.

Hey man, if that's what wins the election, that's what wins the election.

Don't hate the same spirit that swept Trump into power when it turns against him in backlash to his horrid presidency and mishandling of COVID-19

A counter to this idea is that the media, technocrats and many Republican establishment types were all working against Trump, in addition to pop culture (owned by the same corporations), that a narrow loss (which hasn't even happened as of this moment) is actually quite the achievement.

Also keep in mind, you were wrong in your predictions about the election, citing the broken polls and (I believe) thinking a big Blue Wave was on it's way. Didn't happen. It's been narrow, the Democrats lost seats in congress and didn't flip the senate. If Biden wins, I would give them the nod overall for sure - but it is likely to be a very slim and probably heavily contested victory.

If you were wrong about how Trump would perform, which you were, I'd take your ideas about Why with a grain of salt.

My stance: The media was fully propagandizing him the whole way, nothing he could have done in the unprecedented Covd outbreak would has escaped brutal scrutiny and that without that he'd likely won in a landslide. He is not perfect by any means but this idea a guy who would have likely won in a landslide without an extremely biased media against him, without an extremely biased technocrat class against him, without the vast majority of pop culture against him and without an unprecedented outbreak of a global pandemic is somehow 'horrid'?

Really, the only thing working in his favor was how awful an unelectable Joe Biden was as a candidate (which he was/is). Meanwhile, take away covid or if Twitter/******** weren't censoriing the right and even mainstream journalists, or is the MSM as a whole was not full-on propaganda -- without ALL of those combined, Trump would almost assuredly won last night without the current drama.

That isn't horrid, sorry.

I mean there certainly was a united anti-Trump sentiment, but I'm reluctant to cobble each of these individual entities into a collective "MSM" whole. I just think they're all animated by self-interest, and that present self-interest is to keep the spotlight on the President who has been treating them like sh*t the past four years. It's an understandable kind ofhate.

I'd like to clarify - I've been reluctant from day one to cite polls and I never really believed that a blue wave would appear. Too many Trumpyardsigns gave me the impression that this was going to deteriorate into a close race, one fought tooth and nail by both candidates. Unfortunately, that's come about, and now everyone's nervous as to what is next.

I'm very wary of the term "propaganda." I know a lot of the media deals in pretty lousy reporting, but there are some great media sources out there. The subtext that the media has been documenting is that people on the left/centre are fed up with Trump. That spirit got them out to the polls to vote in record numbers. Trump's base was, and always has been, animated to keep him in power. The onus was on the left to show up this time, and they did.

Great post though. I think you're right, that COVID-19 really hurt Trump and he could've turned that to his gain. COVID-19 was an opportunity and Trump tried to assuage his base by making it out to be less than what it was.

I think we're assuming too much about Biden rn. Let's wait and see as to whether or not he merits the Presidency. I genuinely believe that much of the criticism oriented towards Biden is puffery invented by his enemies to try and undermine his support.

You know, I couldn't really think of you doing that off the top of my head, hence my qualifying the statement, "I believe", but you saying this here now, I painted with too broad a brush. If you said you didn't, I'll take it. I think the rest of my points hold up.

You're wary of the term 'propaganda' that I used but I do think when it comes to CNN, and to a lesser extent MSNBC, it applies. That isn't the *entire* media, to be sure, but they have overwhelmingly been against Trump, unwilling to credit his successes, passing fake 'sources close to' stories, ignoring important stories harmful to his adversaries and whatnot. At best case, they're horribly biased. I used propaganda because I think they very knowingly craft a false narrative consistently, at the behest of their Corporate and Political masters. Agree to disagree on that one.

You know - I agree. CNN and MSNBC are some of the most biased rags I've come across. I'll drink to that.

I'm anti SJW and I voted for Trump in 16. I voted libertarian this election. I don't think that Trump being defeated was really a big deal. I stopped being a big supporter after his response to covid.

I would prefer Trump to Biden, but him losing is not a big deal. I feel that most Trump supporters don't really care that much. Most Republicans just want to move on from the Trump era. For next election, I would like to see a hardliner on immigration who actually seems intelligent and makes good on his promises to seal the border, merit based immigration , deport all illegals etc.
