I like 7 series, nice heavy car

What kind of dealership was that? It has a Lexus and a 1950s International Harvester ?? in the background

ITT: People who don't know Op's finances. He could afford it easily or he could be in a lot of debt ultimately the only one who knows is him and he's the one having to face the consequences.

They have a lot of unique vehicles, mostly BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Porsche and a couple Lambos.

I know rich people who get loans on their cars due to the interest rate being low and them being able to use the money in their business or other assets instead making them more money.

By the way, money is cheap enough to borrow right now. OP prob got a 3.5% loan over 5 yrs and can use that 40k to crush in in stock market.

Interdasting.

I assure you the market value for my car is above what I paid for it 2 years ago.

EOD already posted the market value which is more than I paid for mine.

Also not a midlife crisis car. It's my 3rd Corvette and I bought my first when I was only 25.

Lmao at the salty people ITT. Y'all don't know OP or his life and finances. Just because some of you are comfortable reusing sandwich bags and drinking water for every meal to save money doesn't mean everyone else hates enjoying themselves.

Nice car OP.

I just feel like if you have a 70k car you better be parking that thing in a NICE house.

Perhaps OP has everything squared away (high net worth etc) and felt like taking a loan for cash flow purposes.

Nothing more cringe than seeing a high end luxury car in an apartment complex or lower middle class suburb.

I save a lot as well, can I afford a $70k car, easily, but since no one knows the future, I would feel weird spending that much.

i dont get your point, just because you probably got your corvette for a fraction of its cost and can sell the car for more than you paid doesnt mean cars are not a depreciating asset

warranty spent in 25K miles, with 8 cylinders. Am assuming its not your daily, cause otherwise, ouch. Also lol at a 40K loan when you only clear 120. Financial literacy, not even once.

BMW crew checking in. . . . ..

I'd get black kidney grills, and maybe some other DINAN upgrades

Even without, the 7 series is the 'executive car', and to me is up there with an m3/m4. Enjoy it brother

Congrats on the car. Taking a loan for a car is probably the best thing you can do if you know how to invest. You could "easily" beat the interest on the loan by investing, essentially have a car for free. That is of course given that you have the cash on hand.
