Lmao @ people hating in this thread - I wasn't expecting such a negative reaction on a BODYBUILDING forum but everyone probably trollin'

We all started out looking like chit when we worked out. I know I did, and I'm still working hard to achieve my goal physique. I don't blame Gymshark for appealing to people who aren't already jacked or lean. I actually give props to them because it's SMART business.

I don't understand how these places stay in business when you can get Russell gym stuff from Walmart, $10 for a tee and $12 for shorts that are almost as nice as Under Armor

I mean, most of the people I see wearing gymshark at my gym look about like that. That, or the dude is like 125 lbs. All of the actual lifters at my gym usually wear basic walmart shirts or maybe nike stuff.

This. $10-15 shorts and $5-10 tanks or sleeveless shirts from Walmart or Academy do the job just fine. JFL @ acting like the gym is a fashion contest.

The fitness community is full of lulz...

It loves to hate on fat people that are trying not to be fat...

Im sure this is probably SJW campaign but to be honest anytime a company, person or gym is encouraging fat people to get in the gym, exercise and be healthy, Im all for it....

and this is coming from a sub 10% body fat person that HATES this stupid SJW society. If an exercise company is making fat people work out clothes which encourages them to get in the gym and stop being fat..I 100% support it (dead srs)

This has nothing to do with encouraging fatties to hit the gym.
This is advertising your clothes with fat people, giving it a fat people clothing reputation.

It's no different when the misc raged about the calvn klein billboard.
Their underwear is supposed to be sexy. So the models who model it used to be all good looking. Now we have this.

I wont argue with you at all about the intent of the advert and the ongoing social agenda...You are probably 100% right.

Im looking at it from a different perspective, however. Maybe look at it from the fat persons perspective....They are trying to get in the gym, trying to find comfortable clothes and EVERYTHING about the community says stay out. The people in the gym make fun of them. All of the advertisements, clothes, etc are pointed toward and geared towards super fit people. Im simply saying showing a different model and supporting these people to stop being fat isnt a bad thing.

The fitness community cant keep telling fat people to stop being fat and then continue alienating and discouraging them 100% of the way. They obviously have self control and body issues.

..and again I get your point about them forcing an agenda down our throats that fat is "sexy" and that we must accept them. Its a good point but there has to be some balance. If you smack a dog every time you call him...Sooner or later he wont come when you call him. Just sayin.

If i was an overweight female, the last thing i would wear are skin tight clothing that shows each individual fat roll.
It's absolutely disgusting.

Wear a baggy shirt, something comfortable and go lift.
Almost no one makes fun of fat people in the gym. If you're working hard and breaking sweat, people respect that.
Only the occasional immature group of teenagers might make fun of someone, but those people will exist no matter where you go.

Also showing fit models wearing clothes is not discouraging. It should be encouraging.
If a woman sees an LTC female looking amazing, she can draw inspiration from it and tell herself that she wants to look like that as well.
With enough time, diet and exercise, she can get that body naturally.
The whole fat is beautiful thing, is just fat people pushing for fat acceptance, which should be considered discouraging because why get in shape if people praise you for getting diabetes?

I think fatties should get their diets in check and lose weight first BEFORE they come to the gym. Otherwise they're just wasting their time and getting in my way. These fatties don't understand that you can't outrun a bad diet and 5 minutes on the treadmill immediately followed by a peanut butter "health" smoothie because you "deserve it" isn't helping.

They went full woke, posted BLM propaganda and said they’re fine if cops don’t buy their clothes anymore

They were also getting flack for all of their models being juiced up 20 year olds before though

You look like you weigh 130lbs soaking wet, you're really not someone who should be talking trash.
