But you are comparing mostly things more related to grown ups. The point is an individual who is a kid or young teen will go full force on porn due to hormones and being curious, without knowing it will most likely affect them. A more regulated/more strict rules on how to access pron in general would obviously help at least. Just like alcohol is only sold to grown ups, or just before at a certain time of the day, cigarettes age limits, car requires a licence, etc. if you get my drift

Drugs, cigarettes, cars, are all things way much harder to get a hold of as a kid or a teen, heck even as a grown up, than tapping your fingers a few times on a screen and proceed to fry your dopamine receptors

I was on fire from March to June and they were forthcoming about it - they were bored and lonely and since at the time everything was closed they were open about netflix and chill. I guess I should say I wasn't getting inundated with matches, but the matches were coming in daily and they were not looking to chat and get to know each other before meeting. Try a digital detox. The basic idea is that you quit as much of modern technology as you can for 30 days (obviously the exception are the technologies you have to use for work). You allow your mind to reset and you figure out which parts of the internet, social media, etc. actually make your life better. Going cold turkey is going to be more effective than just trying to cut back. If you struggle with self-control you can download applications that block certain websites or the internet entirely.
