We are in a greedy clown world timeframe that is not sustainable. But for how long it will continue is hard to say.
I dont disagree, i dont feel like the foundation is stable. But you are kind of talking like magic eight ball talk. As I said, of course some day it will correct. It always does. But for now, why not ride the wave while its hitting?

I am admittedly doing my small part to a stronger foundation.

Hiring people and giving them jobs
not over extending myself

Im doing all that while I also play the market while its hot. Might as well stack paper so you can shift and be on top when the tide changes no?

Where in my post did I say anything about first to market? Actually Friendster was before any of these and it failed miserably.

Im talking about where the talent and innovation is happening. Trust me, Im in the industry. If you think these brilliant programmers want to come out of school and work for Chevy vs a silicon valley darling, you are delusional. Attracting talent is and will continue to be these old dinosaur company's biggest challenge.

That Hummer is $100k with no options and that Porsche is too expensive for the general populace, not sure why you keep mentioning those.

do you not realize it will take 1000 years for the companies earnings to equal the purchase price? way overvalued. it is a hype stock with a good story
You are mixing my statements that i used to respond to another post with stock price valuations.
1. Another poster was stating other car companies are catching up. No they are not, not any time soon.
2. Do i think TSLA is overpriced? Yes. Almost every stock is over valued at this time on paper 100%. But im riding the wave. Why not?

You will find, sometimes in life, things make absolutely no sense but if you spot the momentum you take it. Ive been in some deals in my lifetime where I thought, "man, this cant be real life"....but I dont turn them away as long as my moves are ethically sound.

States like California are currently mandating 100% of NEW car sales being EV by 2030, similar rules are being touted in Europe as well. Lets see how that goes.

It’ll be an interesting decade for sure. Theres so much euphoria around the EV and “Green” space its actually ludicrous, even Nikola is up 20% today. NIKOLA.

Thanks for correcting me. I also didn't mention it, but I'm not betting on that mandate being instated, just interesting to see how it goes.

It always has been a joke. 10 year rinse and repeat cycles to extract cash out of new wealth and new generations. The common man always loses and theses corporations structure so there is zero accountability, essentially double dipping when the stimulus goes around. The whole corporate stock buy back is a joke also.

And all of a sudden *******s think they are some big time investors because they own 10 shares of tesla, stating what should or shouldn't happen with 'my economuh' so 'my stonk prices' keep rising. Our economy is becoming a running joke at this point, but at least it's being seen for what it is.
Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

Im in the thick of the Oil and Gas industry and major companies.....some of the biggest companies on the planet are majorly shifting their strategies to adjust for the future of clean energy.
The promise has been around for awhile, but the reality is near and old companies are evening shifting. That was a big sign for me.

It wont matter for the millionaires turned multi billionaires I guess.

Out of curiosity, for those stating the market is way over valued, what are you currently investing in?

Also wouldn’t stop people from bringing in cars from other states or finding any number of ways to skirt these rules

Don’t think the world has hit a single one of the pie-in-the-sky environmental targets we’ve set

I’m in Canadian O&G, still massively undervalued. But tech and chit in the S&P is a different story.

For the record, im not all in on the market, but I certainly have money in play and am enjoying the ride.
On the back side, im looking for commercial property to invest in.....if I can find the right deal. There will be blood on the streets here I believe in the next few years.

Tesla is still undervalued IMO. You invest for potential not for current times. They are leaders in AI, Manufacturing, Batteries, Solar, EVs, and Marketing.

They could dominate supply chain, transportation, energy, automation, and even roofing.

The thing that makes them so enticing is they are like Amazon with many avenues for revenue, growth and dominance. They are also run like Amazon with long hours, low wages, and a day 1 philosophy of leadership.

I agree with your logic and acknowledging these red flag indicators. The question is whether to ignore these indicators given that there are massive money injections coming in 2021.https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/ce...ery-month-2021

Seriously have no idea and would like to hear other peoples thoughts. I am seeing indicators of inflation and it looks like there actually might be manipulation taking place to force inflation.

This is great for our country though. IMO Social Security should use the stock market too. The money raises capital for investment and innovation.

Every single 401k is being put in the stock market and the top companies all benefit from COVID. Amazon, Apple, Google and Microsoft are making a killing off COVID.

no, i think if you buy solid companies in the stock market you should be fine even if the market crashes, because you know those companies will ride out the crash/ recession and bounce back, just make sure you have good companies in your portfolio if it happens, it might not. and also have money on the side so you can buy more stocks if the crashes does come.
