Anyone ever see the movie Unforgiven? The Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman flick?

So in it, Eastwood is a widower and has two young children - an 8 year old boy and 5 year old girl. This is in the 1870s or thereabouts. So early in the film, Eastwood leaves his farm to go off to help a friend, and knew that he'd be away for at least a week if not longer. So he gives his son his rifle like it's no big deal, tells him to look after his sister and tend to the ranch/farm, and rides off. Anyone in the 1800s and going back to the beginning of time would have deemed this normal and reasonable. Up until the 1930s, children were merely short adults. They dressed like adults, they had to work in the factories & mines like adults. All totally normal.


I have to imagine an 8 year old from that movie's era would be baffled by the behavior and mindset of people that are 18-26 in this day and age. The truth is that 18 year olds are well past the age where they can practice self-governance, and should be held to that standard.


Also keep in mind that the vast majority of these 18 year olds in porn only film like 3 scenes, take their $5,000 and never come back to the business again. For all we know, this lady in the video is hitting the wall and trying to reduce the competition

Also to everyone arguing 18 is an adult that's based on old laws. Some archaic law based on a poor understanding of the human psyche and brain compared to today. The human brain isn't developed until 24-25. Why are you so opposed to change just because it's always been done a certain way?

The age requirement for presidential candidates exists for a reason. No one wants anyone under 35 making consequential decisions on this level.

There's lots of interesting reading about this topic.

When I was in undergrad I was torn about becoming a lawyer or a psychotherapist, and my undergrad is in Political Science. So, we studied the topic of porn and how that become legal.

Long story short, because it is filmed and there can be a story, it's "art" and of course that's total bullsh!t. That was the "tribe" who controls the media, and law, doing their Epstein things, where they are allowed to have infidel slave girls, rape women, etc, and they were making that all okay legally. That and of course there's tons of money in it for basically doing nothing. You are filming the genitals of prostitutes, and cashing in.

Zero effort.

I understand why porn is exciting and everything, because it's about sex. No normal heterosexual male would want their mother, sister, daughter, wife, gf in porn or to be anywhere near the people involved.
