It's kind of the other way around. Without the physical limitations of the mouth, words flow a lot faster than they can when you speak. Plus, your mind knows what you're saying, so the inner dialogue doesn't have to be exactly coherent. It sometimes makes it harder to vocalize coherent thoughts because you get used to that fast, blurred inner dialogue. Reading tends to be the same way. The mind skips over, blurs, slurs words as you go. You still understand what the text says, but it goes a lot fast than if you were to read aloud, say in a classroom or something, because you can hold the conversation in your head without the mind/muscle connection speaking requires.

There's not much going through my head on an ongoing basis. Things like "**** I gotta get going" if I've been miscing too long and I need to get moving with my day. But continuous running thoughts? Nope. I think my mind would be exhausted if I had to think constantly. I like to simply everything down to its simplest form so I don't have to remember much. I visualize things and see problems more than think auditory words. Like if I'm talking about the coronavirus, I visualize the sphere with the spikes. I find language limiting. Like the visualization is a bluray uncompressed, and language is a highly compressed x265 rip. I would rather think in the native evironment then convert to language if I have to express it to someone.

This has been discussed before this is 3 years old news. What radio station was talking about this?

I've been talking about this since January 2018 when I made my original thread talking about how some people are soulless zombie meat puppets and how to identify them when you come across them.

Edit: see you guys in another couple years when the radio starts talking about bicameral mind

op got the words wrong. It is called internal monologue not dialogue. You're not "talking to yourself" you are thinking using words / internal thought

Inner speech:https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/b...s-inner-speech

Yes the majority of people have no soul and no inner speech no conscious mind or conscience gut feelings guiding right and wrong or other things. These people are what the king james bible refers to when the writers spoke about "reprobates" or "of a reprobate mind" or "mind cast away like reprobate silver".

These people have no inner experience of reality and are soulless zombie meat puppets that are essentially empty vessels. These "people" can become "possessed" by things, their minds are like a computer operating system. The NPC meme that came about in April 2018 is actually real.

I didn't read the thread- only the original post. You're supposed to think before you speak and listen when spoken to. That's a major part of all intelligent and empathic conversation/communication. Many people fail on this concept. They can't wait to speak their thoughts or minds, regardless of how many people they may offend (whether unintentionally or intentionally), and it can easily cause misinterpretation and needless adversity. I understand everybody has this need to be heard, but some people are just inherently insensitive and unaware of how they affect others with their words (especially those close to them). It seems like their need to be heard or seen (or be in control) is so powerful that it overrides many other healthy aspects of their lives or dealings with others.

Maybe when all this pandemic upheaval has settled down and a sense of normalcy has been restored again, there will be chance for developing stronger communication/interpersonal skills. Many of us have been genuinely tested recently. Superficiality is getting old for some of us.
Fact: My first-generation uncle was a boxer who fought Sugar Ray Robinson! He also fought in the war, sacrificing the career he deeply loved, so people could have the right to freedom.

Let's show RESPECT for the POLICE and ALL FIRST RESPONDERS by helping to keep THEM SAFE AND SOUND, and thereby able to PROTECT US!

Bro I don't even think a good percentage of people are really aware. If you go to a grocery store you will notice this. And yeah that is what the inner speech does is guide you and I know some people do not have this. There are huge threads on reddit about ppl with no internal speech and they have to take extra time to talk where people with internal speech have things planned out ahead of time. Like when I'm grocery shopping for example I am always talking to myself planning it all out and preparing for random things to happen if I'm there but I don't think some ppl do that. Those are the ppl that just wonder around stopping in the middle of isles for and are slow as hell or just start up weird conversations with ppl because they dont think about what they want to say

Idk it's hard to explain but there are so many of these ppl now

Hey. You're that person with the thread the mods keep merging people's threads into called the whiny bitch thread. I remember you from before because something about the way you typed and the people you like to bitch about made me think something. I put your posts through an AI program that has been trained on thousands of blog posts to identify gender based on text they typed and it kept showing you were female. I think I know who you are.
