Towns are legit right next to each other and maybe 15 minutes tops, 8ish miles away. Condsidering she drives both ways and that she said 12.5 miles, maybe like 20 miles tops? Which is what a gallon of gas for like $2.30? So you make a net profit of 5ish dollars ontop of whatever else you get? I tip 20% as a standard for the food I order, and if I'm paying in cash I'll round it up to the nearest $5 since I don't really carry singles. But DoorDash and UberEats is a scam srs. You pay an additional fee on top of your food, then a delivery driver fee, and then they expect you to tip afterwards.

I'd bet the food actually cost like $30, and then with the fee's it goes to like $45 or some chit, and then she complained about it. So now she has to drive all the way back making absolutely no money, and got her bluff called out. I've ordered via those apps a few times when I'm super busy and can't make it out, but driving there yourself will save you like $10.

On top of all that tip the delivery driver? Lol I am the consumer not the employer. If you are underpaid take it to whomever you are working for. Tripping $8 for a $40 bill is like paying for an extra entree. Fk that.

It should be the company/restaurants responsibility to compensate their employees accordingly. Why the phuck am I expected to subsidize them? And when did tips become mandatory or even required to be a certain percentage? Nurses, teachers and servers/delivery drivers are the most whiny, entitled people around
