It's funny, not the most hilarious thing ever made but it makes a nice change from 95% of other comedy shows which are all basically exactly the same format of which offerings such asBig Bang TheoryandTwo Broke Girlsare the best of them which says something about the majority of the dreck on offer.

Interesting fact: The guy who played Dwight became mostly a voice actor and was Gargamel on the Smurfs and also Lex Luthor in a bunch of DC series.

The Office is the equivalent of a Dad joke, as a whole/tv show.

Its simple humor that everyone and their mother can understand and something meant to be a "knee slapper" and is so forced it ruins the delivery.

Pretty much why I had to stop watching. Parks and Rec same reason. I love the improv style awkwardness, but no thanks to 30 mins of it Jeff.

I think its hit or miss, some episodes can be funny. Don't like most of the characters (Jim, Pam, Andy, Kelly, Oscar, Toby, Phyllis all suck 99% of the time). Most others are hit or miss, except Stanley and Creed who usually deliver. Creed has just been miscing at work for the show's whole existence.
