I just find it so bizarre...the psychology behind it. Watching mind hunter was really interesting how the killers would speak of “a cure”. It’s completely despicable, however at the same time, what would one do if they were naturally and intrinsically compelled to kill? One could argue they have to be insane in order to commit the crimes they do, but so many of them have been declared clinically sane. It’s mind boggling.

It's mind boggling.

IMO the mindset is actually embedded in human DNA, back to caveman and tribal times or possibly beyond. Just like other "disorders" such as ADD/ADHD. It's also all about the upbringing and those very important infant/childhood days.

Absolutely, I think it’s a combined nature/nurture scenario that creates it. I can’t imagine living life with the innate desire to do such awful things. They get a choice on behaving on these desires, but ultimately they are also victims of their own illness. It’s messed up.

I'm no feminist but I believe in protecting women and children. Maybe even men if they are in distress. I don't like seeing people hurt needlessly. Exceptions are sports with rules. Those are accidents where people willingly participate.

I've said it before but I don't like capital punishment, I think killing is wrong unless absolutely necessary. It sets a bad example for everyone. Thou shalt not kill.

It’s top of my enjoyably bad movies list. The lead is terribly miscast and the whole thing is a travesty of what happened, but it’s still a good laugh. Long time since I’ve seen the Mark Harmon movie know it’s got a good reputation, but not sure there’s really been a definitive Bundy movie

Richard Ramirez and Jeffrey Dahmer would be my top two. I find a lot of serial killers interesting though. Another person that is quite interesting is Charles Starkweather, he qualifies as more of a spree killer than serial killer though.
