My husband competed in bb in the early 80's into the early 90's. In the off season he would compete in benching and curl competitions. That was a big thing back then. He also owned a gym for many years. I met him after he retired. I guess you could say I took over where he left off. He was the one that got me into competing.

I competed in over 30 shows. Started in 1998 and my last one was in 2014. I haven't done any shows since.

Does your husband prefer you on or off?
He has no preference and it makes no difference to him. I competed as a natty for a decade and had 25 yrs of consistent training before I even thought about going to the dark side. Did my first cycle at 40, 1 at 42, 1 at 44, 1 at 46, 1 at 48 and my last one at 51. I've always been very careful and I don't go crazy with the stuff.

Were you ever tempted to buy fake tits?
I was tempted at 38. I was constantly dieting for shows and would stay very lean year round. When I'm lean I'm around and A cup and it bothered me. Went for a consult and everything, but my husband talked me out it.

What are the craziest offers you've had sent to you here or elsewhere?
A local newspaper did an article on me years ago. An inmate from one of the prison's in MA saw the article and started sending me letters. Said he was getting out soon and wanted me to be his trainer. Random photographer wanted me to do nude shoot with him. He wanted me dieted down, show lean/shredded. Let's be honest it's an awful look and who in the hell would want to see that naked?! This was also this guy (to this day I have no idea who he is or where he came from) but he would constantly email these type of pictures...



What's the dirtiest, grimiest story you know of personally in the bb.world?
Sorry no stories to tell because I never followed anyone in the bb.world. The one I did follow for a few years was Layne Norton. I met him and his wife in 2005 or 2006. They had come to compete in a show that I was doing. I hired him as my coach and my 2nd set of eyes for a big show I was doing in 2008.

No they don't. I have a very small circle of friends who I've known for years. Random people on the street probably because muscle women with short hair must be lesbian lol...

Most PM's I receive are from people who have questions about diet/training. I don't get many PMs and believe it or not, the people here have always been very respectful.
