My gf works at a pharmacy and they got offered the vaccine. Everyone that got it got bad sore joints for weeks and I’m not sure what else. 2 people’s knees were hurting so bad they had to go home. A lot of crazy stuff for a fake virus

Thanks for starting this thread OP. Hope your GF gets well soon
As for me, I'm not taking it. Haven't had a vaccine or shot outside of tetanus in over 30 years.
Last cold I had was in 2010. Last flu was 1997.

Hope your gf gets better OP. Sounds like you and your girl differ politically. Does it ever lead to flights or do you both respect each other’s opinions and leave it at that? Srs always wondered as I have never had luck with differing views in a relationship.

Yes, leads to many fights. I'm more libertarian/moderate on most things but these days definitely lean more right on the political spectrum. She's a far-left liberal that drinks the kool-aid and believes in "democratic socialism" whatever the fck that means.
Honestly, we don't have it figured out and the recent political environment has only made things more difficult. I find the best thing to do is avoid political/social issue conversations unless we're both sure the other would somewhat agree or at least it isn't an uber-sensitive subject. Topics where I tend to lean more left (corporate greed control or certain social programs) and topics where she tends to lean more right (constitutional freedoms, right to privacy, etc...) can good convos. But bringing up stuff like immigration, social welfare, msm lies, etc... are just asking for an argument that turns bad.
It's not all bad since we're both pretty stubborn people, so the converse opinions or insights can keep me on my toes and require some critical thinking... but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a pain and leaves a lot to be desired. Difference of opinions can be fun and engaging, but also very exhausting. It's 10x more of an issue in the last few years than it ever was before due to political climate since Trump took office.
Let me put it this way. If we broke up, my next long term relationship would be with a woman who saw more eye-to-eye with me on political, social, economic issues.

First dose, 99.5 fever for a day and a sore arm. Second does 102 fever for 24 hours with a massive headache. Scared the chit out of him.
to be fair, when I got the Tdap vaccine 5 years ago I had a high fever for 2 days along with a severe headache.
For anyone who got Covid or the vaccine who thinks they are "alpha" because of minimal symptoms, instead of beating your chest, be thankful. It's not anything you did, it's a crapshoot that for whatever reason your genetics or previous exposure to a coronavirus giving you cross immunity minimized any issues you had.

I had covid too, and mine was really mild, so I'm wondering, if you get infected a second time, if it will be the same as the first time, or can it be much worse, or better, etc. Ofc I'm not taking that vaccine lol.
Would kick em in the nuts

She sounds like a person that would still argue everyone needs to take it as she rots her body and lays in bed from permanent damage. So many vaccines have been pulled for good reason, not enough testing. The thought that healthy people should be injecting and altering their DNA is fuking absurd,
People who die within 30 days are also being listed as "COVID fatalities" and even when you add up the FAKE numbers globally it's still pathetic. People are out of breath trying to get this point across.
Normally I wouldn't care but sadly it's affecting visiting and having family visit. They aren't stupid so none of us of course would inject this poison over something that's so contagious because it barely kills its hosts - aka every other covid strain. Governments forcing this is is a huge issue.

Lots of generalizations and assumptions there.
She made a personal decision to get it, but doesn't admonish or judge people who are skeptical. We've discussed, at length, my own skepticism and reluctance for the vaccine and she totally supports it... she also has close friends and co workers who refuse to get it (even before her reaction to it) and was never not understanding of their decision.
But yes, unfortunately there are people out there who are militant about their COVID ideology. She doesn't happen to be one of them.

UPDATE*
She hasn't yacked in a few hours and feeling slightly better.
Still nauseous and extremely tired and afraid to put much in her stomach, but has held down half a can of gingerale for a couple hours now.
We're hoping the worst is over and she wakes up tomorrow feeling decent.
For the record, she did say, although that's the sickest (stomach wise) she's been in 20 years, if this was the worst of it and it prevents COVID, she's glad she still got and will still get the 2nd dose.
If it was me I'd bail like a motherfcker on the 2nd dose, but I guess at this point she's already invested.

My mum and grandparents have all had a jab now no sides, besides arm ache which is normal for vaccines.
I’ve had coronavirus and it’s not pleasant im still off work and coughing constantly. Know a lot of miscers probably think lol im alpha i wouldnt get sick but thats what i thought until a week ago. I also have no sinus congestion but still have no sense of smell at all.
I won’t get the vaccine now as I’m currently got antibodies and stuff but maybe down the line in the future I will. Being off work this long is not worth the effort.

My parents received their first COVID shot yesterday. I'm hoping when I see them this morning that they are doing well with few to no side effects being experienced.

You young guys are actually taking the vaccine for the WuFlu? I know 10+ people that have had it and all but 1 had no symptoms or the mildest symptoms. The person with bad symptoms is a 95 lb chick that drinks almost all of her calories in the form of Tito's & Muscato.

First dose of Pfizer arm sore that's it.
2nd does of Pfizer arm sore as phuk, chills, fatigue.
Worth it since most of family is getting the vaccine too. Plus I'm approaching more at-risk age.
