PR stunt. It costs nothing for an agency to have her on their books since models are independent contractors - any spend goes on the model's debt to the agency. Maybe some SJWish publications do hire her and they take a cut.

Some people don't understand the modeling business. It isn't really about being really good looking, it's about being androgynous with good bone structure and something that will stand out

Exactly what those modeling companies look for. But regardless......... who even gives AF. She'll be walking the runway or on some random magazine wearing something and you can just flip the page.

Well you can still wonder what the hell is going on in/what it says about our society (and be critical of) that something like that gets elevated to the point of making a bunch of money to "model".

Lmao you really care that much about some random person getting a modeling contract? This bothers you to the point you question our society?

Can kinda confirm. She looks too tall for me but I like her style, if I were ten years younger...

Also, lol at people not realizing that she's actually quite conventionally attractive once you look past the "alternative" styling.

Supermodels died in the 90s. These days it is all about celebrity.

Aside from the very top, the actual more regular high paid models are the commercial ones you never hear about.

No it's just that your stance is one filled with fake outrage. The overwhelming vast majority of Americans DON'T CARE about some random model or who's on the cover of Cosmo

I think she made herself look ugly and groce on purpose.

This is how she really looks like.

I support this. I like that the modeling and fashion industries are FINALLY accepting more diversity in looks.

Fashion tried to hold on to conventional models as long as possible. Against all the current trends on social media. And that failure to change with the times brought Victoria’s Secret down. So I think it is good they are finally broadening their representation.
'Traditional models' still reign true. You can't force people to think someone is attractive. See:TikTok I noticed this push doesn't work for male models. Imagine a fat balding dude trying to get a contract at IMG and they'd be like "nah bro I'm sweet". Lol.
