What midels? I always used the Evo links.
I just got the new link micro to try.
After bitching to support they just sent me a new one cause it quit working.
Watch the antennas. So fragile. Plus on the Evo if it's facing forward, and you open the camera the leverage from the door will snap it off.
Awesome when they are working tho

I've killed wolves with axe handles and deer with a knife. Killing is the worst part of hunting.
That's why most people prefer to ignore the fact that something must die before you eat it.
Why most people pay others to kill and butcher it, because they couldn't handle it.
Owning that and being ok doing it yourself does bring a person up a notch in my eyes.

You wouldn't understand that for two key reasons:
1 You're a beta male

I'm not allowed to own firearms anymore.
Does that make me more of a real man than you since I'm such a threat the gubmint thinks I shouldn't be allowed to own weapons?

I've been carrying an AR10 on me for my shoulder season cow elk tag. It's pretty nice not having a barrel sticking 18" about your pack. Stick the lower in the pack and strap the upper on the outside. A little heavy but really works well when you have to hike in for miles

I personally love the philosophy of fishing, hunting, and generally engaging in self-sufficient activities, and I engage in many of these activities, but claiming that these things are the measure of a man, posting this on the misc, and suggesting that those who don't engage in them should not reproduce is pretty pathetic honesty. You shouldn't care what others choose to do and you should recognize that, considering how we've built our societies, not everyone needs to do these things anymore.

Swing by my critter thread and share your catch. Was well within bow range of 4 bulls yesterday nowhere close to the rut. Things looking good for fall bow season.

Going deer hunting for the first time this year, will be using a 55lb recurve bow. Fkn stoked.
Also trying to fkn sign up for a gun license is a pain in the ass, when the classes within a 1 hr radius pop up, they get sold out almost instantly, all the way to April and further. Considering driving out 2 hours to get one ASAP.

No muzzleloader season here, they just fall under rifles. Other parts of Canada there are though. I have a Hawken .54 cal caplock though. It's fun.
Other than that, most rifles and shotguns are totally legal to own, hunt with and shoot
I am allowed to carry a handgun, buy only

I wasn't aware of this rule, nor do I know what is required to become one, but if I can qualify without too much hassle, then you can haul your ass here for some caribou hunting in the near future.

Yeah I'd be stoked after anything TBH. I had a friend invite me to check on his trapline a while back and I was excited about that as well and it's nowhere near the same as hunting. I chose deer cause I figure I'll go with something "easy" and common for the first time.
I did start off my archery hobby with a compound. Decided to switch to recurve after about 2 years though and I've been shooting that for almost a year now. I like the idea of being able to kill game with a more primitive weapon.
