I still think the establishment will eventually kill bitcoin and bring in a “fedcoin” with their digital wallet. Fiat has been dead since they decoupled it from the gold standard and even since the fed was created in 1913 really.

Value USD has plummeted

House debt spiralling out of control

Rome tried FIAT currency and it didn’t work out so great for them either. They went down the same path of womens liberation, decreased birth rates and mass immigration.

the problem is they can’t kill btc. How would they? Like dead srs. If you can tell me how I’m open.

On a side note Biden’s financial director is a massive btc guy. He’s in charge of the entire financial system. He taught btc and block chain lectures at uni. Also the last comp troller two months ago passed some insane btc/block chain legislation. Kathy lumis is now running banking sector I believe she owns btc. Big tech wants btc to win Ans they are more powerful than governments now. List goes on. You can’t kill btc. They will release fed coin and other cryptos but it’s exactly the same as fiat now. Unlimited except digital. Eventually at the very least they will peg everything against btc bexause it will be the global reserve currency. Btc is unstoppable at this point. And one last thing is if they some how kill exchanges there are plenty of decentralized exchanged. All you need are addresses to send and receive money. He’ll Nigeria politician even said it’s unstoppable last week Watxh the video ...

It’s over. The fiat dark ages is finally coming to end after 300 years. The btc war has begun

My guess is they will use the pandemic , helicopter payments and their digital wallet to make it happen. Basically give everyone a UBI for partaking in their digital wallet.

They absolutely can “kill” BTC. Look at the shenanigans they pulled during the recent election. With government, big tech and MSM collusion the truth is what they say it is. MSM is nothing more than a CIA/big tech mouth piece. FIAT is all but worthless now. Money will be whatever the establishment says it is aka the great reset. The only thing that has “true value” is land

You need to understand the tech. They legitimately can’t kill btc even if they tried. Like the only thing they could do is stop banks from allowing you to send exchanges money or receive. That’s the only thing they can do. Plus there’s to many big players in btc. The time to kill it was in 2010. It’s over for them Srs

Btc they can’t seize it. They can’t stop you from sending or receiving payments. It’s the only thing safe from the government. Even Janet yAllen 6 years ago said it can’t be censored.

I know you can't kill btc in the autistic sense, but America could very easily outlaw exchanges, consider coins securities, collude with banks etc. They could create so many hurdles and speed bumps that no normal person would risk breaking the law to buy some and hodl. This would be terrible for crypto because as we saw with Ripple, coinbase was quick to delete that after it could potentially be a security. Securities are terrible for crypto exchanges because that means they would have to be regulated and start playing by the rules. They prefer to be unregulated and continue with shady business as its far more profitable for them.

The feds will definitely introduce a digital currency, like China and India. It's perfect for tracking, monitoring and controlling.

Bitcoin is like balancing on a tight rope. One new law or regulation can seriously hinder its performance and banish it to obscurity.

More fud. Btc is already regulated. Btc already declared not a secuirty and it would be in usa best interest to spear head the next digital frontier instead of falling behind other countries

Imo you’re mad you didn’t stack as much as you could and sold out way to esrly snd wish it fails so you don’t live with a life long regret Srs

Exactly what I was getting at.

The establishment doesn’t need to kill something for it to die. With a 24 hour news cycle, banning transfers to crypto exchanges and big tech banning IPs/deplatforming how long do you think it’ll be before the sheeple forget about bitcoin and move onto the next fad

It’s far from a fad. It’s the next invention of money. It’s mind blowing you guys don’t get it. Btc being invented is equivalent to electricity, the car, internet , printing press and more. It’s legit the first thing to transform money in thousands of years. And doing so in a decentralized way. You boyos are missing out lol. I feel for you especially when you’ll be joining in when it’s far to late plus the only reason govenrmenrs are making their own cryptos is because of bitcoin sharing the technology. Just lmao

yeah he fails to realize that people can both own something and be critical of it at the same time.
he is purely delusional and incapable of any constructive discussion or criticism. fortunately for investors, the majority of coincels think like this so its easy to run for the exits while they will hodl for deal life

if gold and stocks are rigged in a REGULATED market, what does that mean for crypto in an UNREGULATED market?

I think he just means to diversify a bit. Its great to own crypto, and the **** is going to be huge, but, regardless of how crap it's doing, the dollar will still be king for years to come. Like we said earlier, crypto is just like any other bubble. It's going to pop eventually (as history has shown), and will rise back up over time.

Also, precious metals should be owned solely as a hedge against inflation (think of it like insurance). Lmao at anyone who seeks to flip a profit on it. Same goes for land, but that's more as a resource purpose rather than insurance.

Lmao pretty much.

Are gold and silver the best investment? No is it worth having a small stack incase SHTF and people want something physical/ reliable. Gold always goes up during times of turmoil.

Bitcoin is blowing past all expectations but it has two problems I see, increasing regulation by the establishment and it’s becoming more of a store of wealth than a useful currency.

Stocks are a joke that’s why I go with index funds. When the gov is hell bent on printing trillions and giving it to their corporate buddies at least the share price rises somewhat keep pace with the hidden inflation figures. Anyone with money parked in a savings account is getting fisted. Every dollar printed makes their dollar less valuable

Which fkkn sucks because I have an emergency fund that is losing purchasing power. I want to do something with it, but I still need it to be easy to liquidate. And all the online banks are offering total piss rates (0.50% and lower).

Been mining with my 3090. Not investing my own capital, except via my electric bill. If BTC continues to blow up then dope that'll be nice for me a little bit, but if it tanks then its no skin off my nose with my measly 0.0003 or whatever fraction of a BTC.

Na I realize but 99.9% of us don’t have enough wealth to make diversifying worth it. Diversifying is for the rich. They didn’t get rich diversifying lol
