In real life, I think mostly when you "push", you go straight arm (or bent arm, but you're not using the arm to push) and push with your legs.

Not sure if srs.

Was 60kg (135lbs) soaking wet at 21 when I started lifting. 15kg cartons at my work at the time felt heavy.

Am 84kg (185lbs) now around 15-16%, abs visible below 80kg, and throw the 27.20kg cartons (60lbs) around one handed, hang off scaffolding dropping then down etc. If I stack these right and grab the straps I can carry 4 of these as a farmers walk.

Never would have been able to pick up a fore quarter or hindquarter before (roughly 200lbs to 235lbs). Can hang a 135lb pig by holding it round the middle with one arm and hooking with the other.

I know those don't sound impressive to big deadlifters etc. But a bit of meat that isn't rigid and shaped like a big chicken drumstick doesn't lift like a perfectly Weighted barbell. One side will be Heavier than the other, legs sticking out etc.

Lifting definitely contributed. The only carryover from doing this kind of work is an arm dominant physique so I avoid direct arm training in the gym.
