I agree to some extent, but how is christianity working now. seems like more and more people are leaving it, so might be time to rethink it and try to come up with something that attracts more people instead of the opposite. Or maybe we will have to wait for another time for the pendelum to swing back. Either way, thinking about a new "system", which people can follow, that makes the world a better place is not bad. We need to examine the different alternatives.

The CTMU is such a new system, and Chris Langan is trying to prove it to be true.

No it’s not. It’s a decent system and better than nothing, but a lot of people have died or killed others in the name of it. If it was a great system that would be extremely rare/nonexistent.

As far as the OP goes - you can’t groom humanity to fit into a set of criteria. If you’re too restrictive there isn’t enough genetic diversity to survive. If you’re too loose then what’s the point.

Humans are not that smart if intelligence is a scale. We may be more intelligent then most species (if not the most) but we still often have to spend lifetimes on skills to contribute in the advancement of our species, people that create only do so by organizing many many people with varying levels of intelligence. Creating a society of high IQ folk isn’t much better then what we have, probably worse. They’re still limited by the instincts and wiring from the caveman days; they just express it in more complicated ways/strategies.

I didn’t watch the video because generally speaking the guy with highest IQ coming out and saying eugenics is the way to go is a stupid move considering his main audience are likely room temperature IQ people that just got done learning about about why the earth is flat; it shows a lack of understanding of our society that is probably brought about by being frustrated because he is often dumbfounded by the decisions people make.

You are missing something.

If any of your systems come from Man, then it will not work. Half might follow it, the other half might not. People will rebel against it, because they have their own opinions.

Are you going to oppress everyone with a rod and iron and force people to your way of thinking, because you know what's best for them? This would never work.


The very nature of any system created by Man, will be rebuked by Man, replaced with their own notions of what is right or wrong.




Only a system from God can be enforced successfully. Because it comes from God, who is higher than all men, and therefore is much more palatable for a human to accept.


As for why Christianity is losing numbers... that is easy. Our learning institutions have been hijacked by liberal lunatics who are pushing all of their vile propaganda upon generations of Westerners. Did you know Evolution and natural selection was not thought up by Charles Darwin... ? It was first reported by a Christian scientist named Edward Blythe, and instead of removing God from the picture like Darwin did, Blythe said that God created animals with the ability to adapt and change their genes so that they may survive under changing climate and environment conditions. Which makes total sense. Why would an all omnipotent Creator make a giraffe that cannot adapt to a new environment?

Kinda the point is that the CTMU, spiritual enlightenment, or at least an understanding and desire to understand reality probably takes a certain level of intelligence to grasp. It takes intelligence to understand yourself, the world, reality, other people and your relationship to those. That understanding is what we need in order for society to really "evolve" and become a better place, but maybe it´s wrong.

Our potential is mostly held back by ignorance and greed imo. As Chris Langan says in the video. Evey person is currently running their own show, and it might always be that way. To switch away from that is very difficult and ambitious. But why not try to at least move in that direction, plant the seeds.

Low level compassion. The current idea of what compassion is which is set by influential people, is often a low level form of compassion where the larger picture is totally ignored. See, thats the problem; a lack of long term thinking. What is compassionate right now, might have a butterfly effect and harm more people down the road, then it helped in that moment. So, one can argue it´s literally a low level of compassion. The whole idea needs to be questioned more.

Your position is that God or Gods son produced a system for humanity that would allow humanity to thrive and live peacefully; it’s the sole truth coming from the lord. And that is flaw number one. Because by default anyone not following it must not be trying to help humanity thrive and live peacefully; logically it’s fair assume that non-believers might be trying to attempt the opposite.

Moving on from that they communicated it, it’s in a book, people go to church and listen and learn and try to live their life by it. The alternative is burning in hell for eternity. Seems like a scary enough consequence to deter people from disobeying.

But it didn’t. Wars were fought. Some Christians don’t understand it, it gets misinterpreted and people do horrible things despite being Christian. It did not lead to utopia. It is not a perfect system.

If I was a doctor and I prescribed people a protocol for being better humans. People tried to understand that protocol, but it wasn’t always clear, there was doubt, some instructions were misinterpreted, some consequences for not following it precisely were ignored and a bunch of people died then would you say it’s a good protocol? No! You would say the instructions need to be more clear, there needs to be more evidence that it works, and there needs to be more transparency in the aftermath when it doesn’t.

I’m not saying Christianity is bad. I think it’s great and has helped a lot of people, but it’s not foolproof or perfect.

I don’t have anything against religion. Please stop putting words in my mouth. I was raised a Christian. Live your life as you please. What I do have a problem with is someone who is so stubborn that they refuse to listen to the other side of the argument and instead believe that religion is the “be all to end all” solution. It’s not.
