So Tiger Woods was driving uphill going into Rolling Hills Estates, in fact from the ESPN video he took out the "Welcome to Rolling Hills Estates" sign.

So he was heading into town at 7am, not sure if he has a property here, but it is all residential here, so maybe going to a buddies or girlfriends house, no clue.

But if he was driving uphill after sunrise with little to no traffic, knowing that road is very straight, yeah I'm thinking he had to be impaired in some way.

Looking at the aerial photos and then looking at google maps, I've actually pinpointed where he crashed.

Just Google Maps/Satellite:

5064 Foxpoint Ln
Rolling Hills Estates, CA 90274

His car crash can be seen just slightly south east of the pool at that address in aerial videos.
99% chance pepsi + prescription drug cocktail

1% chance he was sleep deprived

I play golf up there once in a while, and the sheriff press release says he was traveling north on Hawthorne. I thought the same as you that he was going uphill, but then I though about it and I think downhill is north. Uphill keeps you going south.

He can just relax and do endorsements etc if he wants and focus on his family and his son Charlie’s career. He is wealthy so he will be fine.
Athletes are not supposed to be role models or raise your kids. Doesn't matter if that's part of his job/responsibility because of how dominant he is at his sport, that's more irresponsibility of actual parents.

Fuk man.

I hope he gets to play again. His Masters victory a few years back was iconic...one of the greatest moments in sports in the 2010 decade.

I will hold off all my comments about the accident until details are released.

Hoping for the best.

Well if he wasn't addicted to painkillers before..this might be the reason he does. Back and leg issues are no joke especially at his age
Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

Yeah I think you are right. That Welcome to Rolling Hills Estates sign he took out was in the median. So he was going downhill, went through the center median, through the southbound/uphill lanes, and crashed into the hillside on the other side of the street.
Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still here postin' in hhhnnnggg threads, beggin' for mod reps, and braggin' about whales you harpooned from POF, I'll f'in kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f'in kill ya. You got somethin' none of us have, and you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be red, and I'll still be a socially awkward/FA. And that's all right.
