Wish I could just go on unemployment, stack up covid bucks like all the plebs and then take off into the woods for an extended backpacking trip. We're partially open here now and I'm patiently waiting for the mountains to thaw out so I can leave the city.

I feel you OP. I go months without seeing someone else not wearing a mask where I live. Everywhere I go I feel alone. Haven't worn one once. Each month last year, little by little, everyone started to break and put on the mask. By september I was alone. I still am.

But I have gotten really good at cooking, have my dignity, and have saved a lot of money. So things could be way worse.

I do know now that I am done with this world. This ain't it chief. I'm doing everything I can to pay for a big hunk of land cash and start a mini farm and become self reliant for the most part. They can shove their ideas about covid passes, vaccines, and testing up their arse.

I was back home in Florida over Thanksgiving and Christmas. Everything was open. Full restaurants with no mask in sight (they did have 3 tables in the corner "closed" to meet capacity restriction rules). Bars packed until 2am. Tons of people on the beach and out on the water.

Went to a HS football playoff game with 10k in attendance, Governor DeSantis actually attended with no mask as it was an important game for in state football.

Florida and DeSantis are the last hope of the US as a whole. Almost makes me want to move back but Tennessee is pretty good.

Welcome to the club OP, I'm mad ASF about this whole thing. Fortunately I am managing my sanity doing this whole ordeal, but the fact that all of this **** has gone done over a virus with a 99.xx% survival rate just shows how much of an idiocracy that we live in. The government could tell you to drink toilet water and 50% of the population would do it with no questions asked, while shaming you for being too stupid/selfish for not doing the same.

I read the cliffs of art of war and 48 laws of power. JFL at western men for not knowing these principles. Hell it’s not even a matter of reading them, but internalizing them and being able to use them in real life where it counts. I was able to truly internalize them because I already had to use similar principles throughout my pleb existence where people have, at times, tried to take advantage of me, including family
