But clearly you can't just set the wage to an arbitrarily high amount. There is a sweet spot, and from an ethical perspective, it should probably be a living wage. The main issue is simply that a living wage varies from state to state. I love how I make a perfectly cogent stance on minimum wage (that it should vary from state to state adjusted for cost of living and adjusting for inflation each year), but that isn't good enough for people like you.
