$27mil is cheaper for the city then paying for 100's of millions in damages from the riots that would happen if they didn't get any money.

Tell me why they should be compensated. He wasn't a child or a dependent. He was a grown man. They obviously did not care whether he lived or died because they did nothing to help him with his addictions, instead they let him roam the street with overdose levels of drugs in his system.

That's not the way that wrongful death lawsuits are handled. Blame the system but more importantly BLAME THE COPS because MPD has given out tens of millions in lawsuits over the past few years
