I would definitely say that the history does matter. I think we as a people have been socially engineered to feel inferior and when you expect less of your self, you tend to do less.

We just gonna be arguing in circles like I said black American’s need to rise above and be better.

There are certainly racist people still out in the world and that is truly unfortunate but if you can’t separate your emotions from a word to the point you feel the need to stab someone then black America is never gonna progress

No doubt. I don't think any black person will argue otherwise. The perpetual victim mentality that so many of us have is our greatest adversary. I refuse to let the "white boogeyman" keep me from advancing in life. I also came from a relatively healthy 3 parent household(dad remarried)so my parents didn't fill my head with victimhood. I don't let any of my black friends fall into that **** either. I call them on their ****.
