Nobody rewards abortion. Nobody lines up with a congratulations card and a gift card to Applebee's. Most women who get them don't want to flaunt it to the world either. For normal people, it's usually a solemn, private thing done from necessity. Anyone actually celebrating is a crazy person. It's the internet, so the crazies will stand out, while the regular people don't say anything.

Every time abortion is legalized somewhere there are some pretty big celebrations by women's groups. If you are a strong supporter, what else are you celebrating?

What is a celebration saying other than "Damn the man, hurray for women being able to kill their unborn".

Not rewarded perhaps in a traditional sense, but definitely celebrated.

I've thought that for a long time, myself. I would have no problem if the government started writing out checks if men got vasectomies and women got their tubes tied. Maybe sign something saying they forfeit any state assistance if they decide later on they want to reverse the procedure and have children. It sounds hokey but those are the types of measures we should have to take to alleviate these problems.

Yep. A condition has been made where women have little incentive to keep the father around and keep a family together. It's more lucrative for them to stay single, not marry the father, the dad (if he even wants to be around) will feel separated from his woman + his kid, so he moves on. Government employees will coach single women on how to game the system and get as much of a handout as they can -- in many cases even telling them not to marry or cohabit with the father. I have seen this **** myself.

Unbelievable that some of the comments place the blame on the system rather than on the degenerate 'mother'.

"If mother and child are in supported accomadation the agency keeps records of visits telephone calls and times. If an individual is absent from their residence the staff/manager must log it and contact the individual by phone. If no response then this triggers a safeguarding concern and staff follow procedures to protect that person. The police must be informed.Staff can enter the person's room to establish the circumstances. Had they carried out these actions the child would be alive today. This case exposes the inept team managing her supported accommodation."

This really rustles me. Like no bitch, if the mother of the kid was even a half assed mother the kid would still be alive. Brb leaving an infant alone for 6 days straight and not getting murder charges. Hurts me thinking about the suffering that helpless baby went through those 6 days.

I almost started to feel legit unwell after reading the line about the baby starving to death, dehydrated, developing the flu, jesus christ, I just can't imagine the baby just laying there like that for 6 days, now I am sweating and ****

my mind is seriously blocking me from even trying to imagine the poor baby just laying there for 6 days crying and just dying. fuk this is awful

the staff at the home are being paid, ultimately by me, to prevent this sort of thing. They did, apparently, nothing for 6 days and should certainly be prosecuted (although wont be).

This can be true while at the same time the mother is obviously guilty. She will have evry excuse in the book, guaranteed included undiagnosed mental illness, and be out in no time at all to do it all again.

Right, ususally something else is going on if it's extra long like this. Drugs or some kind of scheme. (not "mental illness". All women are mentally ill. Most people are. They're up to something in particular for things like this. People like this easy pattern-seeking for anything they disagree with. It is not the answer. The laws answer this.)

Criminal justice in this realm is not easy because virtually everyone places themselves in the 'good' category while almost everyone flippantly bragging about 'what i woulda done' comprises the least sophisticated legal understanding of anyone.
