You're right. She's not obligated to give him any money that wasn't court ordered in the divorce decree. Just like he's not *obligated* to provide extra childcare for their kids beyond the agreements in the divorce decree.

Thus, if she wants to informally ask him to cover some of her time with the kids so she can do personal bullchit like go on vacations with a new guy (something like legit work issues from a primary job is another matter), he also is not obligated to cover for her just because. Therefore, he wouldn't be out of line to informally ask her to either throw him a few bucks, or show that she is willing to do a comparable amount of favors in return for the favors she asks regarding asking the other parent to pick up slack with watching the kids.

All I'm saying is, the guy wouldn't be being a bad father to tell her no sometimes, or to expect fairness when it comes to asking the other parent to pick up slack for them for their personal bs. If he allows it to become a habit and never sees a dollar for it from her despite her not doing the same for him, then he will effectively be being a doormat cuck for her and the new guy(s) whenever she doesn't want to abide by her responsibilities and push extra duties off onto him.
