but it makes me think wtf caused people to regress to being gullible morons? Especially now where catfishing seems to be more common than it was when I was a teen, yet people are still dumb enough to go along with it.
I said that too but there is one where they talk to you for a bit abs have tons of pics abs slowly work it up and then go live with you abs they tune it right with the text and them stripping. I noticed the sound was off with the video or they would have got me. Then they are like I’ll give these to everyone if you don’t give me money. For a 15 year old that must be scary

Actually attempting to extort someone is illegal. And if someone dies as a result of you committing a felony you can be held legally responsible for their death. I don't know what NY laws look like but if the subject ran the scam in my state they'd be looking at extortion charges along with murder charges.


Chances are the scammer is overseas though and will walk scott free.
