My old man has big bald spot so i know its gonna be in my future one day.
And yea your transplanted hair actually grows, lol. The hairs don’t even “know” they’ve been transplanted from what I’ve read. It’s just like moving a plant from one side of the yard to the other. They’ll grow if they’re in the right environment. Which they are.
And those transplanted hairs are DHT-resistant. Meaning the follicles won’t die, just like the hair on the side and back of your hair never dies.

If I were to get one I'd go to Dr Cinik's Clinic in Instabul, Turkey. They're a bit pricier for Turkey standards, but cheaper than the US. They don't over harvest. Know a few dudes IRL that have gotten it done there so far and it looks great. One got 4k (like 2.8k euros) FUE and another got 3k and then another 3k FUE. Donor area was NOT over harvested at all. They know what they're doing brah.
I recommend looking into this specific clinic for your second operation. You're going to want another (even if you don't need it) :P

But so far it’s looking good. No point in crying the blues because I could’ve picked a better US clinic. It might just turn out alright.

"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."
