Great show but I prefer sopranos (they are compared often given their release dates, hbo, and being crime dramas).

Being from b-more irl I hear it called goat regularly, but that is biased imo.

I watched Season 1 years ago, and that was all the further I got. I thought it was boring too and didn't get all the hype.

I'm sure this thread has numerous responses about how if you don't like it you must be a simpleton or something.

I lost it that season where there were no cops in any major stories. I get it Baltimore sucks and is the star of the show, but I don't need to see a bunch of teachers for an entire season.

I never did finish Mad Men. Got a couple eps in and stopped for whatever reason.

I've always thought this too. It's a decent show, and kept my attention. But you get all these people saying it's the best show they've ever seen, and I just couldn't even begin to rate it this high. More like a 6.5/10 when I was told that it's a 10/10.
