if it was anything star wars or super hero related me and my bro were into it.
outside of the action figure realm. remote control cars, BB gun if you consider a bb.gun a toy which technical its not but you had fun with it as if it were you just had to respect and treat it differently.
can remember our father setting up beer cans and teaching us how to hold and aim, stance etc etc. was fun.

Gogo's/Crazy Bones. My siblings and I collected as many as we could and often battled/traded with our neighbors (often as rewards for Pokemon card battles). RIP gold Eggy, you could take and deliver hits like no other. Feels good to recall the days as a 5 or 6 year old with a scrap allowance, walking to the nearby video game store (which still had all the old school Nintendo, Sega, VHS movies, etc.), and buying packs of these along with fake cigarettes and Big League Chew. Would never trade a childhood in the 90s with what kids nowadays are exposed to! Added a picture of what the Gogo's bags looked like--I can still feel the foil-like texture and smell the plastic aroma.. fuark.

Ty Beanie Babies. Got into these from elementary-middle school. My parents used to manage a restaurant at a mall, and every so often they'd give me and my siblings a small allowance to visit the mall's Hallmark store and buy a new animal. My sis and I used to play with these all the damn time, and assigned personalities/voices to each animal that really stuck with them. I remember buying a fuller-sized Zip (black-and-white cat) and pretended he was real since my parents were vehemently against owning pets. Our family now has 5 cats total, and a recent pupper too!

Home made slingshots. The little plum things used to go as high as 10 story buildings.
