I have used LG/Samsung phones exclusively, currently on the s21. However this past year with apple giving its users the freedom to block apps that are tracking you, example blocking ******** from tracking you, what you type, and web history. My next phone may just be an iphone. regardless tho any phone now a days does everything anyone needs, phone tech has slowed to a crawl. I do hear the new android OS will come with track blockers too, but who knows when I will get that update as i am in the hands of samsung and verizon combined for those latest updates.

Apple does some things better and android does some things better. Apple are more user friendly but you can do a lot more things to androids and droids have a metric chit ton of variety. I have a Moto G power because with normal usage the battery will last 2 days sometimes 3, is cheap so I don't have to worry about breaking it and holds an SD card so storage is never an issue. If the prices were reversed I'd have an Apple instead

They made a unique 'lightning' plug so they could be the ones to sell chargers to their phones. And if any other company wants to sell it, Apple sues them and takes them down unless that company gets permission from Apple in the form of 'Apple MFi certified' in exchange for percentage of all sales.
So now that that scheme is getting fukked with, instead of complying and switching to a universal format that would be helpful for everyone, they decided to do away with chargers completely. First they discontinued the charging cube and acted like they were saving the world and doing their buyers a favor. Next, the lightning cable will be out of the box too. They will only sell you the phone and then ask you to buy a wireless charger, which as you may have noticed they have not manufactured themselves and have been basically the last to adopt (because they can't lock out third party ones from working with their phones and nobody in their right mind would buy their overpriced one) until they could add that pointless MagSafe 'feature', which they will claim has an advantage over third party chargers (notice the 'safe' in the title).
When it comes to them being brave and removing certain plugs from their equipment, that has a similar reasoning and has nothing to do with being brave. Apple is an extremely scummy company but they do make a good phone.

Apple still supports a 7 year old iPhone 6s. Receiving the new iOS 15 update in fall.
No Android phone does that. I got 2-3 year support max for a Samsung device. I bought Samsung Galaxys for 10 years then switched to iPhone last year.
iPhone resale value much better than Android.
Run way faster, smoother even as the phone ages.
Care about your privacy more than any Android manufacturer.
Apple just gets better every year. They have perfected their ecosystem.

Apple products are overpriced trash. Made the mistake of getting an iPhone last phone and sold it after 9 months and went back to android. Lmao can't even plug it into your pc and drag and drop. Battery lasted like 3 hours too, while my new Samsung lasts 2 days.
Closed platforms are trash. But in clown world there's tons of idiots. Glad Apple exists for them so they stay off PC.

Anyone who claims iPhones are overpriced clearly hasn't seen the resell market for it.
Brb pay 900 for a new phone from the carrier
brb resell it for 800 a year later
brb androids
brb pay 800
brb resell 0

Since there's more Android phones, there's more supply, which drives down costs. I'm not sure paying more for a phone is a notable feature of ios based phones.
