Piss off, WE will always find more. A little known fun fact about Australia is that they have been finding and tapping oil there for 60 years. Could be just as much in Aus as the Gulf but the government chooses to keep it secret as it's low grade.

I agree! I want my own nuclear powered car, well actually it would need 2. 1 for movement, the other for the flux capacitor.

Energy isn't an issue when oil begins to run low they will just pump money into fusion technology and we're sorted. We could have had fusion reactors decades ago if there was incentive to actually fund it.

i'm all for newer, cleaner and renewable sources of energy

but fukn lol @ this fearmongering. Jimmy Carter in the 1970s dubbed this exact same thing as an "energy crisis" and nothing happened. Lump this all with all the other conspiracy theories of back then including mass starvation and Manhattan being underwater by the year 2000. Just lol.

i think it's all bs.. if we were gonna run out of fossil fuels, scientists would have known about it long ago and had more than enough time to avert any crisis.. but of course the media/government are gonna act like it's the last minute to keep us in the state of perpetual fear they so love to keep us in

You what m8? If anything the media and government are downplaying the severity of the looming crisis. I do agree that fear sells when it comes to media, but not so much in this case. Governments have also not acted commensurate to the crisis at hand at all, so I don't see your point.
