I think it has to do with wanting to put this thing behind us for good. ie. No more lockdowns or restrictions. I was quite reluctant to get it. Not because of any real fear of the virus or the vaccine but I have a condition which I was truly concerned about the possibility of it being exacerbated by it. Ultimately I got the Moderna shot and really don't have any concerns about it's safety. In places where everything is basically back to normal I can see why people would be reluctant to get it though.

Donald Trump has nothing to do with my decision to not get the dumb vaccine. Unlike pro vaxxers/the majority left, I am not influenced nor do I just do what I am told. Im also not "anti vax". I had no issues getting up to date shots for law school, but just LOL at a covid vax.

I really wish that people realized you can be against this specific shot and not be anti vax and you can be anti covid restrictions/lockdowns and not be a live and die "trumper".

Read the data. The vaccines are fine and highly recommended to protect against the spread and severity of covid both to yourself and others.

Yes, the experimental vaccine which is being rolled out to millions of people under emergency use authorization is 'safe' because you know, there are plenty of long term studies to assess for side effects right?

Literally millions have reported side effects and thousands have died - anyone can look at the VAERS data or even the official yellow card scheme over in the UK, which btw are severely under reported on both counts.

The proof is in the pudding.

People are naturally going to be skeptical of an experimental drug that is not FDA approved and with no long term studies created by pharmaceutical companies with a long history of paying billions in criminal fines, and long track records that clearly show your health is of little to no concern over their profits. The majority of the population with a decent immune system do not need a Covid vaccine.

Im not afraid of the vaccine. Im just not afraid of covid.

I also don't go hanging around nursing homes, so im not even a threat. I also dont hang around kids, much less those with medical issues. Like I dont understand, do you think those at significant risk(that number is low) are just everywhere in public places? Maybe its because you don't leave your basement, so you don't understand that the majority of people out and about arent in the large risk group.

ALSO, its not my responsibility to protect others. Flat out. 1) My aunt worked with Fauci when she was at the NIH. So, yes, I do know his agenda. Guess what it is? It's saving human lives, as it always has been.
