Look at his location. He knows because he is from Jersey and saw SHTF. You should really see what people in NY and NJ think of this virus. It killed a lot people who people knew and loved...elderly, organ transplant recipients, etc. Even many healthy ppl who survived it suffered lung scarring, brain issues, platelet problems, etc. They got it before anyone knew what was going on and it was chaos.

The point that I was trying to make is that for them to spend over a whole year having states locked down and one day, just to open everything up like they did…Does that make any sense? How about waiting a couple of months and gradually begin loosening up the mask mandates. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I’ve stated it before on the Misc that I only wear the mask in public for other people. It’s more than Covid. It’s as if they knew or expected this new wave. And I do think that the numbers will be higher than before. And that’s when panic will set in. It will be a chitstorm from the people who don’t want to wear masks to the vaxxers/antivaxxers, etc. It will be a divided America.

Hospitalization from Covid won't get out of control but hospitals may still get overwhelmed. Covid panic caused undiagnosed cancer and heart disease, alcoholism and drug abuse, 100 other serious delayed and ignored health problems. Those now sicker people have been filling up hospitals for months.

There is always a cost. Granny didn't catch Covid because of lockdowns but John, age 57 skipped getting that normally dull, sometimes sharp pain checked out because of Covid fear. It's now stage 4 cancer, would've been a lot less advanced if he got screened back in April 2020 when he felt the pain. Granny died in her sleep after Thanksgiving of natural causes. John is hoping he'll be alive in 2 years.
