There is definitely a point where it becomes unattractive. But for natties getting as big as you can is probably just going to increase your attractiveness (all else equal).

Gah, this is one thing that bothers me to no end about the misc. Thinking of "women" as if they're some sort of hive-mind, Borg-like entity with one unilateral opinion or consensus on anything.

Of course, it varies. It only makes a crucial difference at either extreme, and generally the only issue is women's skewed notion of "muscular"; like Brad Pitt in Fight Club is a pretty standard idea of muscular for women and what I would presume is their mostly ideal.


Obviously, looking like an IFBB Pro and sporting the Markus Ruhl look is too far and would gross women out to no end, but if you worked towards a Mens Fitness physique you would do exceptionally well. Heck, some of those guys even juice and compete in middle-weight BB comps. Bodybuilding isn't an all or nothing thing.



In my experience, though, when you buff AF and definitely look like you lift, you'll naturally appeal to women who pursue the fitness and lifting lifestyle themselves. Women who are less fanatic about the gym will have a lower threshold for physique and will tend to be with skinny or regular-ass dudes.

Yup. And many men cannot look good at that body fat. Many will have to get leaner and thus will not look as big/full no matter how much they train.

Google says Brad Pitt was apparently 155 and 5% in Fight Club and 166 and 8% in Snatch. It's very subjective. Boxers like Mayweather fought in range of what... 130-155? I'm sure plenty of women mired his physique during his career. Same w/ football players and... fame aside, those dudes that used to stand outside abercrombie stores with their tops off. None were huge, but there's definitely a preference both ways. I do think the % of women who go for the ultra big are way fewer than those who don't.

Although, I've never been huge, so what do I know. All I can gauge it on is the memes saying being jacked attracts more guys than it does women.

With my body as it was? Which was like 4 pack and not even fully defined, large pecks and traps, arms too... but not cut crazy like you see on real bodybuilders and ifbb guys?

At school? A school like penn state mind you. I was the guy that women viewed as that ons person of choice. Good tj bang, known tj be solid at it but a liability to date. And ugh? Granted it seems that much of these men that I’d be comparing myself too in the ifbb world most likely lack the intellectual capacity or aura/personality? I’d imagine that having been in that position where these other more important attributes don’t matter? That so many women would be self conscious and afraid to date them in the normal world. The way things play out in the normal world and the way things play out in porn and movies are very different things. And to pretend otherwise is no doubt just a bit absurd. Trying to pretend like you’re going to have a situation in real life, ever unfold as it does on the screen is a bit of crazy notion. Though I guess who’s to say in my life given the circumstances at play and that many people want to pretend as though I am living a movie. Look at the actions of politicians. In real life, it’s just way different.

Of course women love muscle but they mostly only like it to some extent and if it comes at a detriment tj security that changes the variables to a large degree. As ugh I look at my hs experience and so forth? When I graduated hs? I got tj make my choice between two of the hottest girls that had been there. And my numbers in comparison tj that of the hs Qb who was 2 inches taller and ripped? I’d slept with more women, had more female and male friends(especially female) and been given more opportunities.

So personality factor in far more in the real life.

yeah LOOKS are important, as in being lean, athletic, and preferable tall - and yeah going to the gym 3 or 4 times a week to maintain some muscle mass - so 6'1 180-200 ripped is enough.

Also, in all honesty (and I'm pretty jacked by average standards, but not by misc ones I'm sure and am natty) I think I can pretty honestly/safely say I got substantially more female attentionbeforeI started lifting and typically weighed 160-165 lbs. Back then I just had a lean, athletic physique with a bit of muscle.

Women do love muscle but women's standards for being jacked are also much lower than the average guy's. 6'0 180 lean is would already be seen as huge by most women. Your height and face are are much bigger deciding factors than how much muscle you have, if Chris Bumstead was a 5'5 manlet with a busted face and the same physique girls would be calling him an ugly roidhead.

Not my lifts, in lbs or kgs, really thought the sumo with straps part made it apparent it’s a joke. Regardless I am more of a BBer than a PL these days hence me chiming in on this thread lol. girls are insecure. They like muscle (maybe not some teched out freak but what fits your frame) but will settle for soyboys who will put up with their chit and not leave them. However, sometimes the meat heads aren't the most secure and not always as fun or charming. That certainly plays a role. I wouldn't date some boring barbie no matter how nice her tits/angus is. Need that balance.

Hair shy of 6'3, 190lbs, 34 inch waist, 48 chest. Idk about arms or legs or any of that. I meet dudes a lot bigger than me everyday but that's probably due to my line of work and location. I ran into Bill Kasmaier the other day and stood a little taller than him and I had a wider frame but he had more muscle mass.

its also been proven that what women say they want and what they actually want are rarely the same. You can put a picture of 5 guys in a room and ask the women to pick which one they find most attractive and more often than not when they meet the 5 guys in person they pick a different one. For some reason women don't like admitting they like jacked huge dudes, just like women like to say they prefer dad bods. They dont actually prefer dad bods they just lie to themselves out of security issues or w/e.

i was meaning open bodybuilders, if open bodybuilders arent getting to CBum size they arent really that into it. Cbum is 225 on stage, so thats not asking for much for open bodybuilders, when i said amateur bodybuilders i didnt mean physique guys being the size of Cbum.

I think when you go from amateur to national/pro level open bodybuilders is where you start to really push women away by being too big, but even Cbum got his pro card in open bodybuilding and wasnt a mass monster.
